Julie Norman Jenkins is a multi-sport dog trainer and owner of Quicksilver Canine in Julian, NC with a passion for teaching people and dogs. She has trained and showed her own dogs in obedience, conformation, herding, agility, flyball, freestyle, and disc. Julie’s flyball team, Fur Fun, has proven success racking up 25 Regional Championships and becoming the NAFA 2014 CanAm Multibreed Grand Champions, the 2015 national overall Multibreed Champions, and the 2017 national overall NAFA Champions.

Julie’s instruction style is flexible and fun, focusing on the strengths and challenges of the individuals rather than cookie-cutter solutions. Her training emphasizes developing a loving relationship through play and cooperative learning which benefits performance dogs of many disciplines and makes sport-specific training easy and fun. Julie strives to bring out the very best in each dog and handler team, regardless of breed, speed, or level of training.
